Whipped Snow?
Like whipped cream in winter, the snow swirled in heaps and points. That was 2010. The snow was piled two feet high by our back door.

It’s so pretty, and it does look like whipped cream!
Just thought of that term as I looked at that photo again. Wonder what the arrangement will be this winter?
Thanks so much, Alyce, for hosting this meme. I love seeing all these photos.
Has it snowed yet this year?
We’ve had snow a couple of times, and it’s melting again. Rain today, snow tomorrow? Who knows?
Happy New Year, by the way!
I remember the two feet of snow last year! And I’m hoping it stays away for the remainder of this winter.
I’m sure the skiiers and snowboarders are hoping for that too. Our ski hill just put in new lifts and managed to open this past week. This rain will be hard to take.
Snowdrifts are so interesting, aren’t they? It’s always such a shame to have to shovel through them.
Tis true, except if we have to get out the door or go somewhere. I leave the backyard drifts in winter. Perhaps next week I can find a pic of snow on our back deck at our last house. Made interesting patterns.
Drifts are nice to look at, but I’m not a huge fan. I’m usually the one who has to shovel through them. Nice photo, though. We haven’t had too much snow this year yet, which is very unusual, so drifts haven’t been too much of a concern. Have a wonderful new year.
Guess we’ll see the drifts eventually this year. Yes, I often shovel them too, except when my husband gets the snowblower out. I still shovel a path even then.
I imagine you’d get quite a bit of snow, Marie. You’re further north than we are.
I am freezing as I look at your picture! 🙂 I would only want to stay inside, warm and cozy under a blanket and reading. I’d never want to go outside!
I actually don’t mind being out on a snowy day, maybe not driving so much, if the roads are filled with snow. If it’s minus 30 though, I want to stay inside. 😉
